School-based Youth Substance Use Counsellor

ARC Programs is accepting applications for a School-Based Youth Substance Use Counsellor, with the Changes Program.  The School-Based youth Substance Use Counsellor is responsible to provide individual early intervention and treatment services, on an outreach basis primarily to youth attending high schools across School District #23. The Counsellor will be responsible to provide effective assessment, counseling, education, support, and treatment services for youth demonstrating difficulties in relation to substance use, and their families.

Community Support Worker, Penticton

ARC Programs is accepting applications for the position of Community Support Worker, providing services to young adults working primarily out of our Penticton Office, but also out of Kelowna Office. The Community Support Worker will work with young adults {19 and up} who have limitations in adaptive functioning and either a diagnosis of FASD, or Autism Spectrum Disorder {ASD}. The Community Support Worker will provide individualized behavior intervention, consultation, education, counseling and support services for referred adults.

Residential Youth Worker

ARC Programs is now accepting applications from qualified Child & Youth Care Workers to fill full-time positions in one of our two-bed residential resource, located in the Kelowna and West Kelowna. Working as part of a collaborative case management team, the Residential Youth Workers will provide for the physical care and emotional nurturing of the youth living in the home, as well as skilled intervention and supervision of the youth. The Youth Workers will also support clients to develop healthy lifestyles and appropriate behaviors.
