Residential Youth Worker

ARC Programs is now accepting applications from qualified Child & Youth Care Workers to fill full-time positions in one of our two-bed residential resource, located in the Kelowna and West Kelowna. Working as part of a collaborative case management team, the Residential Youth Workers will provide for the physical care and emotional nurturing of the youth living in the home, as well as skilled intervention and supervision of the youth. The Youth Workers will also support clients to develop healthy lifestyles and appropriate behaviors. Applicants for this competition will work shift rotations, alternating days and evenings, including weekdays, weekends and holidays.

The position requires sufficient training and experience to perform all responsibilities of the job description, and preference will be given to applicants with a bachelor’s degree {BSW, BA {related}, CYC Degree}, or Diploma and related expereince. Ideally candidates will have experience working with high risk children and youth with complex behavioral challenges, in a residential setting.
