The School Based Mental Health program serves secondary school students having difficulty with low or unstable mood, anxiety, extreme stress, or those who have a formal diagnosis of a mood, anxiety or thought disorder affecting their emotional, social, mental, and academic functioning. Counselling approaches are relationally focused, developmentally relevant and use best practice clinical interventions for mental health issues. Services include assessment, counselling, consultation, and psychoeducation.
How to Refer
Referrals are submitted by secondary school counsellors in School District 23.
