Support Services for Families with FASD (or similar neurodevelopmental conditions) Program

Program Overview

The Support Services for Families with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) program is a community-based outreach service designed to build on strengths and reduce risk factors children and youth with FASD or a similar neurodevelopmental condition. The program helps build the capacity of families to meet their needs and provide ongoing nurturing care for their children using a caregiver-driven approach.

How to Refer

Parents/caregivers may self-refer, Interior Health Children’s Assessment Network (IHCAN), physicians, pediatricians, psychiatrists, service providers and other multi-disciplinary teams specializing in FASD assessments, community and schools may also refer to the program, provided the family is in agreement of the referral.
