Spring 2025 Behaviour Services Caregiver Workshops
Supportive strategies. Empowered caregivers. Stronger families.
Are you a caregiver looking for ways to better understand and support your child’s behaviour, learning, and well-being? Join us for the Spring 2025 Behaviour Services Caregiver Workshops—a welcoming and practical series designed to equip you with tools that make a real difference.
Attend a gathering to learn about a variety of topics to support your child or youth’s behaviour and learning. Workshops will include topics such as emotional connection, figuring out the “why” of concerning behaviours, teaching positive behaviours, regulation, communication, sleep, and practical tools and strategies to reach you and your child’s goals!
We invite you to a welcoming and supportive environment where you can connect with other caregivers, enjoy coffee and snacks, and participate in interactive learning opportunities.
- Coffee and Snacks: Enjoy some refreshments while you relax and connect with other caregivers.
- Interactive Learning: Engage in presentations and hands-on activities and discussions led by a Behaviour Consultant or Specialist.
- Insights: Learn practical strategies you can use with your children to empower you and them to succeed in day-to-day life.
- Supportive Community: Share experiences and build connections with other caregivers in a warm and empathetic setting.
Child programming is also available. While caregivers participate in workshops, staff from our behaviour services team will run child and youth programming embedded with fun and play, emotional learning, social skills, and connection
Hosted at the arc programs Central Okanagan Family Connection Centre, these workshops offer more than just information—they create space for connection, reflection, and shared learning with other caregivers.
Who Should Attend?
Caregivers of children or youth who want to explore strategies that support behavioural growth, emotional regulation, learning, and communication.

Each session blends evidence-informed teaching, interactive discussion, and peer connection to give you clear, practical tools you can apply at home.
