A Space to Learn, Connect, and Grow Together

arc programs is honoured to launch a new FCC Community Screening Series this summer at the arc programs Central Okanagan Family Connection Centre (FCC). This series will run from July to November 2025, on the third Thursday of every month, and is open to families, staff, and community partners who want to explore compelling stories and engage in collective conversations about identity, belonging, wellness, and community connection.

Each event will feature a powerful film or documentary followed by informal reflection time. Light refreshments will be provided, and space will be limited to 50 attendees to allow for meaningful exchange and a welcoming environment for all.

We are thrilled to open the series with a special screening of Because She’s Adopted, a moving documentary from Kristal Parke, a Cree filmmaker, producer, and adoptee advocate whose storytelling blends lived experience with social impact.
